West Palm Beach yacht builder Rybovich Spencer will unveil its 42-foot Express Walkaround, dubbed the Margaritavich. The luxurious $1 million model was designed with the help of singer Jimmy Buffett, who’s expected to make an appearance at the show with his friend, singer Billy Joel.

Dennis Kozlowski, former CEO of Tyco International, threw a $2 millon dollar party for his wife’s birthday on a Mediterranean island and flew in Jimmy Buffett to perform at a cost of $250,000. Kozlowski is now on trial being charged with grand larceny and enterprise corruption for allegedly stealing some $600 million from Tyco.

The jurors watched video from the party that included Jimmy Buffett performing some songs. A clip of the video appearred on ABC’s Nightly News and CNN.

In an odd way, Mayer says it’s Buffett who has taken the lead when it comes to evangelizing. “He’s taught me aspects of life that I didn’t know,” Mayer said. “He taught me a sense of humor, that behind every serious subject, there is a pretty darn good reason to laugh.”

According to Margaritaville.com, Mailboatrecords.com, and Amazon.com the new live cds “Live in Auburn WA” and “Live in Las Vegas” will both be coming out on Oct. 28.
Amazon.com has the release date for “Live in San Diego” as 11/4/2003.
From Mailboat Records: We are releasing Live in Vegas and LIve In Auburn, WA for now. Unfortunately, due to technical problems and then the cancelled shows, the others were cancelled. There will, however, be more releases, but we do not know which shows as of yet. Stay tuned!
