I just got the March 2004 issue of Power & Motoryacht magazine in the mail and the title for the cover story reads: “Jimmy Buffet Builds a Rybovich“. Bubba’s name is spelled incorrectly throughout the article. It seems that the computer age has claimed another victim.

Carolina Hurricane season ticket holders received an email today (Feb. 19) that they are eligible for advance tickets to the Jimmy Buffett show on April 27th at the RBC Center in Raleigh once they go on sale. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Feb. 28. Prices are $91, $65, $55, $35.

Jimmy Buffett is mentioned in today’s Arlo & Janis comic strip.

I attended the party that the Outback Steakhouse threw last night in Tampa for the Outback Pro-Am Champions Tour golf event. Jimmy and the band played for 90 minutes. He mentioned he will be back in Tampa in April (We’ve confirmed he will be playing at the St Pete Times Forum on April 22nd)

A reliable source from the OFFICE DEPOT CENTER in Sunrise Florida tells me that Jimmy will be playing there on May 1st. Further details to come.

According to an article in today’s Palm Beach Post, Jimmy will be doing another beachside benefit at the Breakers in Palm Beach on April 16th. This concert is to benefit the Academy of the Palm Beaches, the Palm Beach Day School and the Alzheimer’s Foundation. Tickets are expected to be in the $1,000 range.
