Where’s Jimmy Buffett? Help! I just checked out the tour dates on the Margaritaville Web site, and Houston is not on there. He is booked through August. While there are a few slots to fill in, it would be distressing for him to overlook us. Do you know what gives?

There’s a chance he’ll play Houston in the fall. Also, there’s talk he’s going on a massive stadium tour with Alan Jackson and George Strait. That would be interesting — who’s the headliner?

On the song “Mind to” on Clint Black’s newly released CD “Spend My Time” he mentions many “things” he’d like to do, “if he had a mind to.” One of those mentioned is to “Front the Coral Refer Band.”

According to an ad in the Milwaukee Journal, Jimmy Buffett is confirmed July 10 at Alpine Valley. Tickets on sale 3/20. Lawn : $ 36.50, Pavilion : $ 75.00

Registration for the 2005 New England Parrot Head Convention is now open. The event is being hosted by the Parrot Head Club Of Eastern Massachusetts. Trying To Reason With New England Seasons will be held Feb 25 to 27 in Danvers MA. Register for the 2005 convention before April 1st, 2004 and you will be entered into a drawing for a complete convention package for two. The package contains registration, Friday and Saturday night stays, and all scheduled meals for two.

Here is something interesting from the Dallas News, Linden is a small East Texas town where Don Henley is from.

Richard Bowden, city councilman in the East Texas hamlet of Linden, is candid about how he booked Jackson Browne to perform at the Linden Music City Theater …

Through his strong ties with Mr. Henley, he has got another big name for later in 2004. “We got a commitment from Jimmy Buffett.” And Richard is unfazed that his acts have played arenas bigger than his town.
