A rumor passed along to BN: A reliable source inside the Clear Channel Concerts organization says Buffett is scheduled to play at Citizens Bank Park (the new baseball stadium in Philly) on August 25, and 27, with tickets going on sale March 5.

We are still waiting for the official list of Summer Tour Dates to be announced.

In addition, for the first time in Tampa concert history, permission has
been granted to allow tailgaiting. TBPH in conjunction with the Ford
Amphitheatre, Margaritaville Tequila, Corona, and other local sponsors, is
putting on the official tailgate party at the Florida State Fairgrounds,
where the Ford Amphitheatre is located. There will be a number of great
contests that day, and one lucky couple will win backstage passes to meet

“A preview party [at] the Cheeseburger in Paradise restaurant coming to Pasadena could make dreams a reality for special needs athletes. Public awareness about Special Olympics and money for new uniforms will be raised at the the event, planned for March 5 from 7 to 10 p.m.. Tickets are $35 each and a maximum of 300 tickets will be sold. Proceeds from all ticket sales and an auction of autographed Jimmy Buffett paraphrenalia will benefit local Special Olympics. Located at 8026 Ritchie Highway, the restaurant will officially open to the public on March 8 at 4 p.m.

According to the FAA records, Buffett’s aircraft corporation Strange Bird, Inc. registered with the FAA a 1992 Falcon 900 business jet on 2/17/2005. It has at least 6 more seats than his old Falcon 50. Sweet!
