Jimmy Buffett’s Live in Hawaii album debuts at number 3 on billboards independent album charts. It also debuts at number 66 on the billboard hot 200.

Jimmy Buffett will be on the Ellen Degeneres show on March 31st. It’s a rerun of the show from January 10th of this year. Jimmy sings an acoustic version of Margaritaville, and chats to Ellen about Parrotheads.

Sailed into Bocas Marina and Yacht Club in Panama last week and guess who was tied up at the dock … Mr. Buffett. The Continental Drifter II was tied up at the dock, didn’t click at first to you owned the boat. Guess he is friends with the owners as he hung out with them all week. On Friday March 25th he gave a 2 1/2 hour show at the little bar for about 25 people. WOW !!!!! what a time. Feel like the luckiest sailor on the planet.Still floating above water. Wish all could of seen it, it was unreal. Steve (one lucky PH).

“A Downtown diner where Jimmy Buffett cooked and Bernadette Peters danced has closed its doors. Kenny B.’s Eatery, billed as Pittsburgh’s only Cuban restaurant, served its last meal yesterday after 7 1/2 years at 123 Sixth Ave. Its location in the cultural district made Kenny B’s a choice hangout for celebrities on tour. Buffet found his way there for the first time in 1998. “One Sunday morning he just wanted pancakes and ham, and [the Doubletree Hotel] only had the breakfast buffet,” owner Kenny B. Myers, 50, said. “They sent him down here.”"
