Seating will be limited for Wal-Mart associate concerts during Shareholders’ Week

May 20, 2005 — Admission for both the indoor and outdoor Wal-Mart associate concerts during the week of the Shareholders’ Meeting will be on a first-come, first-served basis. While the admission process for the indoor concert has not changed, there will be some important differences for the outdoor concert. The indoor concert featuring Will Smith along with Sara Evans and Brad Paisley will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1, in Bud Walton Arena. There will be seating for 18,000 including 4,000 Wal-Mart associates from stores around the world. The remaining 14,000 seats will be filled with associates, each of whom can be accompanied by one guest, shareholders and the general public, if any seats remain. The outdoor concert at 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 2, in Razorback Stadium will feature performances from Shakira, Jesse McCartney and Jimmy Buffett. Admission to this concert will be handled differently than in past years.

* Contrary to misinformation communicated by some media outlets, this concert is not open to shareholders or to the general public.
* Outdoor concert attendance will be limited to 25,000 Wal-Mart associates and specially invited guests. Wal-Mart associates will be allowed to bring one guest each.
* Admission for associates is on a first-come, first-served basis.
* Associates must present their valid Wal-Mart ID badges at the gate.
* Souvenir tickets will be handed out as each person enters the stadium. When the tickets are gone, no one else will be allowed inside.
