The Photo Gallery for the 2006 Tour has been updated with some pictures from the Irvine shows, along with more pictures from the Phoenix Show. There are also some pictures of the 2006 Tour tee shirts (thanks to calypsogirl). The 2006 tour tee shirt can only be purchased at the shows.

By being sixth in line at a local Ticketmaster retailer, Jay Isenberg thought he’d be able to get Jimmy Buffett tickets when they went on sale March 13. Then they punched in the order and said, ‘Sorry. Sold out,’ " Isenberg said.

Just received word that Jimmy Buffett will be playing the Today Show Concert Series on Friday, May 26th. This comes from Westwood One who apparently will offer the concerts to local radio affiliates. More info as I get it.

Jimmy Buffett’s "Party At The End Of The World" tour continued last night in Irvine, CA. The feature album for the show was "One Particular Harbour". Songs from the album included "We Are the People Our Parents Warned Us About ", "One Particular Harbour", "California Promises ", "Brown Eyed Girl ", and the video "Livin’ it Up".

A BNer (hikingontuesday) posted this message about the stage set: The set was a big ocean view with the band playing just at the shoreline. There were two lifeguard chairs facing the water with drinks, towels, etc. This year’s "prop" if you will is the Lifeguard Chair. There were also a few Adirondak chairs. It was weird to see less people but they moved the Bongos and Steel Drums to the "main line" rather than behind.

On Saturday April 22nd at 2pm come out and meet the stars from the new movie, HOOT! we’re rolling out the red carpet on Saturday, April 22 at 2pm in Kids on 7 for Brie Larson and Cody Linley, stars of the new movie HOOT, opening in theaters on May 5! it’s the story of some middle-schoolers who set out on an adventure to save a population of endangered owls from greedy land developers. After Brie performs some songs from the movie, meet Brie & Cody and get their autographs; then David Mizejewski, co-host of Animal Planet’s "Backyard Habitat" and Senior Mgr of Habitat Education for the National Wildlife Federation will to share some cool stuff about owls.

Jimmy Buffett’s "Party At The End Of The World" tour continues tonight with show from the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Irvine, CA. The show will be broadcast live on Radio Margaritaville and Sirius Satellite Radio begining at 11:00 PM Eastern with pre-show begining at 10:30 PM Eastern. Follow along with the set list here.

The Phoenix show will be rebroadcast on Radio Margaritaville at some point (to be announced). There were some technical problems the other night with the broadcast and they hope to replay the entire show in the original quality (they have a pristine copy of the show).

Amazon.com has posted information on the "Live at Wrigley" DVD (Mailboat Records) with a release date of June 13, 2006.
