The "Bama Breeze" video debuted on CMT this afternoon. The video included footage from Bay St. Louis, Mississippi shot at the old Fire Dog Saloon. The music video is about the effects of Hurricane Ivan on the Flora-Bama. There’s a cameo appearance by Jimmy’s sister Lucy Buffett (LuLu).
According to the video on CMT the name of the title of the new album is: "Take the Weather with You".
Jimmy Buffett’s new video, "Bama Breeze," premieres Thursday August 31st on CMT. It will be showcased throughout Labor Day weekend.
The new video will premiere on CMT during the Top 20 Countdown.

The album cover for the upcoming Jimmy Buffett album is now available. On BarnesandNoble.com the new album "Take the Weather With You" features a cover consisting of Jimmy, leaning against a shack, on some Caribbean beach setting, smiling and giving a surfer’s hand sign. The top half of the shack’s wall is yellow, the bottom half is greenish-blue. On the yellow portion we see the name of the album. In blue, handwritten font - "Jimmy Buffett" and in red handwritten font is "Take The Weather With You". The cover is remnicent of the "Far Side of The World" album cover in that Jimmy is leaning against a wall with the albums’ name written on it.
The single for the song "Bama Breeze" has now made it’s way to country radio stations. The song will be on Jimmy Buffett’s new album "Take the Weather With You" due out on October 10th, 2006. The music video for the song will be out in September. There’s a Real Audio sample of Jimmy performing the song at All About Country (thanks to Mike for passing that along).

He signed it at the Tinley Park show knowing it was going to be auctioned for charity! Attention, parrotheads: Margaritaville’s own Jimmy Buffett has been booked to play the Paramount Theatre at 8 p.m. Sept. 19. Proceeds will benefit musician-author Kinky Friedman’s campaign for governor.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday August 26th at the Paramount box office, at www.gettix.net or at (866) 443-8349. Tickets will go for $300, $200 and $100 and are limited to four per customer. But will they be able to fill the aisles with sand?

I just heard "Bama Breeze" on Radio Margaritaville on Monday night.. Miles said "If that’s a sign of things to come, I can’t wait." I agree. I’m sure Miles and some of the other DJs will be playing it again.
Walmart has an "exclusive" DVD that comes along with the HOOT DVD. The bonus DVD includes two videos by Jimmy: "Good Guys Win" and "Floridays".
