During Saturday’s show at the Tweeter Center in Mansfield, MA a video called "Indiana James" was played.
Congratulations to Thomas Pimentel and TNT LTD. PRODUCTIONS and the Cast and crew of Indiana James and the Raiders of the Lost Shaker of Salt. On Saturday night, August 12th, 2006, an eight minute clip of Indiana James was played at the Jimmy Buffett concert in Mansfield Massachusetts at the Tweeter Center to open up the second half of the show. The video was received with laughs, whistles and applause. "You could feel the excitement in the crowd, especially when the beach ball came rolling down that huge ramp after Indy." Director Thomas Pimentel also said that the surprises and excitement did not end there. "On Thursday night I was invited back stage because Jimmy wanted to meet ME. They didn’t tell me that I could meet Jimmy. They said he wanted to meet me. I got to hang out back stage with Jimmy Buffett’s video director, Stan Kellam, and see how the show is put together. I was introduced to Buffett and he told me that he saw the movie and laughed his ass off. I was floored. Almost five years of hard work had definitely paid off. We talked about editing and he wanted to know why I made the movie. I explained to him that I had an overactive imagination by which he replied, I can relate to that. Buffett then told me that he wants to be in the movie and we would go on to discuss logistics of working him into the project with a cameo. Could this dream get any better?

The Boston Globe has a review of the Thursday show at the Tweeter Center: "Parrotheads soak up Buffett’s tropical spirit"
The dream is alive, and Jimmy Buffett’s to blame. "When I’m running the country we’ll have one time zone, Mardi Gras will be a national holiday, and 5 o’clock will be the witching hour," enthused Buffett near the start of his set, affably stoking the beach bum’s version of paradise he’s been hawking for nearly four decades.

A couple of weeks ago, a lot of people hoped to get close to Jimmy Buffett, who was filming a video at the Fire Dog Saloon in Bay St. Louis. Share a few thoughts, that kind of thing. I know, because I was one of them. Well, most of us struck out. But not Mary Perkins. First, a bit of history.

During the show at the Tweeter Center Boston (Mansfield, MA) on Thursday night Jimmy said he has not decided on what the name of the new album will be. It was originally going to be called "Party at the End of the World" and then it was announced that it would be called "Nothing But a Breeze".
During a recent interview with the Boston Globe this is what Jimmy said:
Q. You have a new album due this fall. Weren’t you also going to title it “Party at the End of the World"?
A. Yes, but I learned a long time ago that if you have to explain it, it’s not really a good title. People said to me, “What does it mean? Is it the end of the world? Is there a party? What?" There were too many questions for an album title. So I came up with “Nothing But a Breeze," from the old Jesse Winchester song. I won’t have to explain that.
Let’s help Jimmy out with the name of the new album. Should it be called it "Bama Breeze"? Any suggestions?

From Brian: I thought you guys might like this picture of Jimmy from this past Saturday’s show in Chicago (Tinley Park) on August 5th. There was a "Parrothead" wearing this hat in the front row and Jimmy admired it so much he asked to wear it. It was very funny!
