Bama Breeze is registering on the country music charts, but it is hovering in the low 60s. Hopefully the added CMT exposure will help it rebound or even propel it towards cracking the top 40.

Radio Margaritaville presents the World Premiere of Jimmy Buffett’s new release "Take the Weather With You".
On Wednesday October 4th at 6pm ET, Radio Margaritaville will present a nearly two-hour special program featuring Jimmy Buffett, six days before the official release date of his new CD, "Take the Weather With You".
Jimmy unveils the stories and inspirations behind the each of the songs on this remarkable new recording, beginning with his current hit "Bama Breeze", as he talks with Steve Huntington in the Sirius Radio Margaritaville studio.
The program will also air Friday, October 6 at 12 noon, Sunday October 8 at 3pm, Monday October 9 at 9pm and on the official release date, Tuesday October 10 at 5pm.

Update: Jimmy Buffett will be appearing on Emeril Live on Sunday October 8th at 8:00 p.m. est. Michael Utley and Mac McAnnaly will be joining him on the show as well as his tour and personal managers. I understand Jimmy had a great time with Emeril - it should be a fun show to watch!

Jimmy Buffett was at Martin Short’s "Fame Becomes Me" on Saturday September 23rd. Each night Martin parades through his pseudo life story bringing alot of his well known characters to life. About halfway through the show, he appears as Jiminy Glick, the oversized, bigger than life, celebrity interviewer.
Prior to his appearance on stage there is a frantic search for a celebrity to come and take over the show….and guess what…..they called out Jimmy Buffett. The spot light fell immediately upon my seat and everyone turned around and there was Bubba himself sitting directly behind me. Jimmy had come to see the show with his kids and in the company of Lorne Michaels, the producer of Saturday Night Live.
He jumped up and ran up on stage waving to the audience. And sat down for his encounter with Jiminy Glick. It was a hoot and Bubba had a hard time keeping a straight face, he had a real bad case of the giggles. Jiminy Glick first had Mr. Jimmy Buffett confused with Mr. Warren Buffett, but Jimmy set him straight. Jiminy then queried Jimmy about his song Margaritaville….and then blurted out " So basically you go around the country getting drunk?!?" Jimmy just about fell out laughing so hard.
All in all a very kewl night.

Following on the success of Margaritaville in other resorts in the Caribbean, Mexico, and the US, George Town, with its regular influx of cruise ship passengers, has been chosen for the latest addition to the chain of themed restaurants originally created and made famous by the singer and songwriter Jimmy Buffett.
