"It kind of blew me away," says Neil Finn, who formed Crowded House in 1985 after the demise of his previous band, Split Enz. "I like the way he did it. "And I like that he did it. I don’t know much of his stuff, but he’s obviously got a very big fan base. He does huge shows. So I’m really happy he’s taken that song on. Good on him! I look forward to meeting him. I’ll give him a big thank-you for certain."
