Jimmy Buffett live from Anguilla on Radio Margaritaville on SIRIUS Friday during the Buffett Buffet after 7pm ET. You’ll hear Miles Hampton play two songs, indicating that Jimmy will indeed go deep into his songbook for this concert Saturday 3.24.06 which will be released as a future DVD. ‘Banana Republics’, and ‘Stranded On A Sandbar’. This is totally raw…unprocessed audio!!! The mix is 1 ambient mic. It was an awesome setting. Surprising many visitors on the beach. At about 11am Jimmy Bufffett and the Beach Band started their acoustic set at a boat shaped bar on the beach!!!
Update: It will be replayed at approx. 11:45pm ET on Friday 3/23 (8:45pm PT)

The rumored DVD of the Anguilla show has been confirmed by Radio Margaritaville: Jimmy is planning on doing a DVD of the Anguilla show. This is a great opportunity for some face time on camera as there were only 3 to 4 thousand tickets sold. He’s planning on doing a deep setlist reaching for some rarely performed songs.
Unfortunately the show will NOT be broadcast live on Radio Margaritaville because of the remote location. Portions of the show may be rebroadcast on Radio Margaritaville, or you will have to wait until the DVD comes out (TBA).
A couple of articles about the two shows that sold out within minutes of going on sale:
The Cincinnati Enquirer "Buffett tickets gone in minutes"
It continues Buffett’s streak of sold-out Riverbend concerts dating back to 1987, when he moved his show from Kings Island’s Timberwolf Amphitheater and its 10,000 capacity, to Riverbend’s 20,500 capacity. "There has never been a Buffett show here that didn’t sell out, almost always in 15 minutes or less," Moehring said.
