From Blogger News Network: Every dog has his day, and now so does Jimmy Buffett – at least in Pennsylvania. House Resolution No. 333, passed yesterday in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, designated June 23, 2007 as “Jimmy Buffet Day.” The entertainer will be performing at the Post-Gazette Pavilion in Burgettstown that day in a sold-out concert.

According to the resolution “Jimmy Buffett is a world-class entertainer known for his support of charitable and environmental causes throughout the region,” “more than 1,500 active Pennsylvania Parrot Heads (as some of his supports are known) join all citizens of this Commonwealth in Welcoming Jimmy Buffett …”

The Todd Snider radio special on Time After Island Time.

Musician Todd Snider is carrying on the flame of the great songwriters like Jerry Jeff Walker, Keith Sykes, Jimmy Buffett, Guy Clark, and others. His latest album, "The Devil You Know" is not unlike him…honest, humorous, and insightful.

Todd Snider, who identified himself as the Tipsy Gypsy gave us a very honest, humorous, and at times wild interview. He is a witty one. We talked about everything from why he never gets tired of performing, his favorite songsters, his loan to Jimmy Buffett, and he even gives advice for all of the listeners.

We hope you enjoy this show, Todd Snider’s interview and most of all his music that is not quite like anyone else’s. Listen into Time After Island Time from anywhere in the world on Radio JimmyDreamz at http://www.radio.jimmydreamz.com

The Paris show DVD will be released just before Christmas. Songs that were recorded from the Anguilla show will be combined with the Paris show and released on DVD.

Club Trini has a performance scheduled in the Carolinas which is why they will not be at MOTM in early November. There’s still a chance that Jimmy could be at MOTM this year. If it were to happen it would be an informal thing with one of the cover bands.

From Karl: The entire Paris concert at the "New Morning" was filmed with at least 3 professional video cameras, 2 stationary, and 1 mobile. I spoke to the camera man after the show regarding whether they were going to make a DVD of the concert. He said the Paris show itself was too small, so they are going to combine the footage with footage with the Anquilla show to make a DVD which should come out around Christmas time.

According to the Mobile Register: Jimmy Buffett will give a commencement address at the American School in Morroco in Tangier on Friday, June 15th. The event will continue as scheduled in spite of the sudden death of his friend Joseph McPhillips III, who was the school headmaster.
