Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band wrapped up the July leg of the Bama Breeze tour last night in East Troy, WI. Jimmy has performed 14 shows at the Alpine Valley Music Theatre dating back to 1988.
The Set List along with comments from the show are now available.
Some highlights from the show’s set list include "Once In a Lifetime" (Talking Heads cover song), and "Stories We Could Tell" (last played in Indianapolis on July 6th, 2004).
The next leg of the tour kicks off on Thursday August 30, 2007 at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, CT.

The SunHerald has an article on the proposed Margaritaville Casino: "Margaritaville on the Way"
Now that Margaritaville has cleared zoning approvals, groundbreaking is tentatively set for next month. The Biloxi beach resort will open in 2010 with hotels, pools, shops and restaurants, including, of course, Margaritaville.
Buffett is designing Margaritaville Casino around his memories of growing up on the Coast and said, "I plan to be pretty active in this." It’s the first time the Margaritaville theme that Buffett has used to create casual restaurants around the world will be translated into a casino.

Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band perform tonignt at the Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati, OH. Jimmy performed his 40th show at the Riverbend Music Center dating back to 1988.

In early June Buffett made his performance debut in Paris, France (not Tennessee) at the 400-seat New Morning Club. He’s seriously thinking about a show amongst the tiki gods on Easter Island in the South Pacific. "I’m trying to cut down to about 20 dates a year," he said. "I’m doing the things I wanted to do the year I turned 60 in terms of lifestyle and music. As I throttle back I’m thinking more about teaching and getting involved with baseball, a fun hobby that might come back on my radar."

On this episode of Time After Island Time, we welcome songwriter and guitarist Roger Bartlett. Roger Bartlett is the front man for the band Hell’s Kitchen and is also a solo artist, and he was also the first ever member of the Coral Reefer Band. Jimmy Buffett typically performed solo, sometimes having Fingers Taylor sitting in informally. In 1974, Buffett started his first official incarnation of the Coral Reefer Band…1 band member–Accompanying Buffett was Roger Bartlett on guitar and background vocals. The next year, Buffett also added Harry Dailey on bass, Philip Fajardo on drums, and Fingers Taylor on harmonica and keyboards. In addition to talking about the old days of the Coral Reefer Band, he talks about his life in Manhattan, his songs which have appeared in some unusual places including The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, as well as his childhood in Louisiana, as the son of Ray Bartlett, famed radio host of the show "Groovey Boy, The Boogie Master." In addition to his work with Jimmy Buffett, you’ll hear his solo music and cuts from his band Hell’s Kitchen.

Back in July 1977 "Margaritaville" peaked at number 8 on the Billboard Pop Singles chart, and number 1 on the Adult Contemporary chart. This was Jimmy Buffett’s only song to ever reach the top ten on the Pop or Hot 100 chart.
Some other Buffett songs that made the top 40 on the Billboard Pop Singles chart include "Come Monday" at number 30 in 1974, "Cheeseburger in Paradise" reached 32 in 1978, "Fins" reached 35 in 1979, and "Change in Lattidues, Changes in Attitudes" reached 37 in 1977.
