Jimmy Buffett hopped on stage with Sonny Landreth and his band at Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett, NY.
He sang "USS Zydecoldsmobile". When they finished he said that they only knew two songs and "By God you’re going to hear the second one". Then they did a kick-ass version of "Jambalaya".
After that Jimmy said that Sonny and his band was "the best three piece rock and roll band in the country". He also said that when he retires he "wants to play rhythm guitar in Sonny’s band".

The SunHerald had an article "Buffett, Atwood give library $75K"
Pascagoula natives Jimmy Buffett and Charles Atwood were joining forces and checkbooks to fund a much-needed project at the Pascagoula Library $75,000 to renovate the second floor area so it will match the first floor, which was remodeled after Hurricane Katrina.
Buffett’s "Singing For Change" charitable foundation also donated seven Hewlett-Packard computers to the library, which will be used in the teen area upstairs.
A new book pays homage to ‘City of New Orleans’ writer Steve Goodman

By the time he was through, Eals had constructed a portrait of the artist so complete that it includes everything from the Christmas cards his family mailed when he was a baby to the deathbed visit his old friend Buffett paid him.
When the "Margaritaville" musician pulled out a guitar and played a song he’d just written, "all the bells and whistles" connected to the lines keeping Goodman alive sounded alarms.
"I guess he didn’t like my song," a startled Buffett said.
