The Key West Citizen reports that one of Jimmy’s closest friends in Key West, Captain Tony has been hospitalized again: "More tests for Key West legend" - Capt. Tony readmitted to Miami Heart Institute
Doctors continue to be concerned about "Capt. Tony" Tarracino’s heart, and have sent him back to a Miami hospital where he was last week to undergo further testing.
An ambulance on Tuesday took the 91-year-old "man about town" to the Miami Heart Institute at Mt. Sinai Medical Center. There, doctors may repeat an angioplasty procedure they did last week, said Tarracino’s wife, Marty.
"He came home on Wednesday as planned, but then was readmitted to Lower Keys Medical Center on Friday," Marty Tarracino said Tuesday morning. "Doctors want to redo the procedure in Miami, and it gets a little complicated for him because we’re dealing with heart and lung problems, and not just the heart."

Don’t worry about Capt. Tony, daughter says
Legendary Key West character’s heart lands him in Miami hospital

Key West’s favorite dirty old man and former mayor on Monday remained
in a Miami hospital for a heart-related illness and more tests.
"Capt. Tony" Tarracino’s daughter expected the 91-year-old Key West
legend to return home Wednesday.
An ambulance took Tarracino to Lower Keys Medical Center on Thursday,
before he was flown by helicopter to Mount Sinai Medical Center, where
the Miami Heart Institute is located.
"There were two beautiful nurses in flight suits on the trip with
him," said daughter Toni Tarracino. "He is alive and well. The way
rumors start in this town, we wanted everyone to know that he is doing
OK."
She said she speaks with her father twice a day, "and he sounds
awesome." Her stepmother, Marty, is in Miami, too, waiting for the
infamous charter captain, self-proclaimed gunrunner, ladies man and
saloon keeper to return to his home at the Key West Golf Club.
"People start getting freaked out when it comes to him," his daughter
said. "But he sends his love to everybody."
She frequently tells of her father’s arrival in Key West in a milk
truck sometime around 1948 after being beaten severely by the mob in
New Jersey. He and his brother had devised a way to scheme money off
people "playin’ the ponies," she said.
He became an accomplished fisherman, was one of the first bar owners
to hire a young guitarist named Jimmy Buffett and was elected mayor in
1989.
"I was born the same year as the Model T," he said last year in an
interview with The Citizen before his 90th birthday. "I have a hearing
aid for a horn, and the tires are worn, but my clutch still works."
Through it all, he has sired 13 children with three wives, and retains
his quick and disarming smile.
To this day, his eyes spell mischief when they meet those of a young
lady, although his thoughts and his hands are always somewhat farther
south.

Many prayers go out to the man. I’ve met him on several occasions and he’s always gracious. We just drove right by Mt. Sinai the other day after getting off of the Parrothead Cruise in Miami. We could all have stopped by and cheered him up!

What are the salaries for helicopter pilots? We have a staff of dedicated, results-oriented teachers and instructors qualified to teach the various specialisations offered. We limit the number of students to 12-15 per class. The primary objective is to make certain that each and every student fully absorbs and understands the subject material.
