My God, you are killing me, this guy won the contest? This is absolutely ridiculous. Seeing him 25 times in 30 years? I have seen him over 35 times in 10 years. I have two pirate tatoos. I named my dog Fruitcake. I have a vanity plate that reads Buffett. I have been on Margaritavision 7 times, I am on a couple of Buffett’s dvds. I am sure this guy is a very nice guy, but come on. he is not the ultimate parrothead! Right now I am sitting here with a buddy of mine who traveled from NH with his wife and kid to see the show in Philly on Sat. Either one of us are better candidates for the title best parrothead. Most of the parrotheads who should have won this award, they are spending their time trying to get to shows instead of making videos.
I guess we should have just entered the contest and and stop our belly aching.

Admirable, but not even close. I’ve seen him over 30 times since 1982, and I happened to meet him at Crazy Sista’s Restaurant, Lulu’s. Quite a coincidence since Lulu’s daughter told me in Key West he’s only been there a couple of times. He did see him in concert before I did, but I bought my first album before he did in 1978. Great Buffett bar, but my basement Tiki Bar is better!
