Buffett Performs at the Comcast Center Kenny Gradney of Little Feat is a special guest on TAIT
Sep 06

Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band ended the six date East Coast leg of “The Year of Still Here” with the second show at the Comcast Center in Mansfield MA. Jimmy has performed 47 shows at the venue originally known as Great Woods going back to 1986.

The Set List and Comments are now available. The set list included some changes including “The Weather Is Here, Wish You Were Beautiful”, “God’s Own Drunk”, and “Stars on the Water”.

Jimmy finished the show with the song “Trying To Reason With Hurricane Season”. A perfect song to end the show because Hanna had caused the concert to start at 3:00 PM, and the lawn people where caught in down pours throught out the show.

There are no words to express the disapointment of this concert. from the overpriced tickets to the drunk as$%^&les fighting on the lawn and injuring inocent SOBER people that were trying to enjoy the show. Its a shame what 5 yrs ago used to be the hottest ticket in town and the concert everyone waited for has turned into this. 12 yrs in a row and that was the last one

Totally agree about the jerks in the mud on the lawn, but thought the show itself was great. Jimmy was in fine form, and most people were having a great time. I think having it so early in the day encouraged even more binge drinking this time than usual. I was at the Thursday show as well, and it was amazing, and no one got hurt. If the crowd bummed you out, I’d recommend going to the Thursday or Tuesday show next year - it is a slightly mellower group. Or, avoid the lawn. It is a shame to have to do that, but it is better than missing a show!

43 shows and this ranks as one of the best sets i have heard. i have stopped going for the tailgate a long time ago. let the asses ruin it with their drinking most of them only know one song anyway.

    LOVED the show Saturday!
Even the early start time was different
What a GREAT set list - especially finishing with “Trying to reason with Hurricane season” as the Lawn crowd was getting SOAKED
I’m not sure I would have stayed the whole show on the lawn (probably would have) but luckily I was in Sec 1 row S - Loved the show Thursday as well, but Saturday was a better set list. Rock on Parrottheads! Cheers - Todd

Thought the show was great and did not mind the early start at all. I think the Mansfield Police could have chosen a different delivery method to let us know the lots were closing. We had 30 minutes in the lots post-show with no notice at all. There could have been an announcement during the show telling us vs. getting the grills fired back up and getting barraged by the police to get the hell out immediately.

GREAT show! We were on the lawn and fortunately not near the drunkards apparently. It was even a blast getting rained on! This was at least my 5th Buffett concert and it was by far the best! Can’t wait for next year!

I was at the Philly concert where 2 people were so drunk that they held each other up to walk straight.
