Jimmy Buffett played a surprise show at the Margaritaville in Cozumel along with Mac McAnally and Nadirah Shakoor on Tuesday January 6th, 2009.
From Courtney: Cozumel was amazing and surreal. We had a blast. Here are some of the songs that Jimmy played: “Margaritaville”, “Cheeseburger in Paradise” (with people playing the different parts, see the photo), “Son of Son of a Sailor”, “It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere”, “Changes In Latitude”, “Brown Eyed Girl”, “Volcano”, and “Mexico”. Nadirah also played a song from her album “Nod to the Storyteller”.

We were in Cozumel on Saturday, Jan 10th and partied with our cruise mates at Margaritaville for Shelia ‘Sharky” Griffiths birthday. The staff told us he had been there a few days before. Man I wish I could have seen him, but our party was great and Margaritaville was great . Some off our cruising buddues had a jam session at the club…. We had a blast. Will load some pics later…..

We were there the Friday January 2nd.
Our waiter told us he would be there the following week.
We also had a fantastic time there!

I WAS THERE !! What a great surprise !! Love the restaurant, happy staff, great food. Was able to get Jimmy to sign a cap for my husband ! Thanks for the impromptu concert. What a thrill !!!!!!! That’s my daughter’s blonde hair in the picture with the walking cheeseburger. PH

We were all there on a Carnival cruise lst week of Nov.because of a hurricane detore.It was a great place,wish we would have been two months later to see Jimmy at Marguritaville.

I was there on a Carnival Cruise with a buddy and we heard the rumor of him being in Cozumel and we went and saw the show! It was UNBELIEVABLE! The best Buffet concert I have ever been too! He even slapped my hand as he walked by me! WOOO HOOO!
