Swine NOT!! - Jimmy Buffett’s appearance on the Today Show that was scheduled for May 5th has been cancelled because of the swine flu story
From a post on TripAdvisor.com: Official statement from The TODAY Show “Because of the developing swine flu story, we have decided to postpone our ‘Today Takes A Vacation’ trip to San Antonio and Key West. Given the uncertain direction of this story, we are in a better position to cover it fully with all of our anchors, staff and crew at our home base in New York. We have not yet set a new date for the trip, but we look forward to visiting these great cities soon.”

What a crock! Seriously, they need they’re “best” anchors to cover this story? Way to ruin the vacation plans of a teacher who lost her mind as well as her shaker of salt

Jimmy - if you’re lurking around KW on May 5th, we hope we run into you somewhere. We will be having dinner at Latitudes on the Beach at 6pm for my hubby’s Birthday - it would be a great surprise to see you there. !!!!! I promise to have my hand sanitizer ready!!!!!!

The Jersey Tomatoes, (all 12 of us) are totally devistated. We were so into the song writers festival and catching you in KW. Perhaps we’ll see you at the Southernmost hotel for an audition or just a Marguerita.

Unreal….. This was going to be one of the greatest trips ever! Still going to KW, just hoping JB still drops by while there!! Swine flu=BS.

Very disappointing news. We planned a last minute trip to Key West to catch this rare opportunity to see Jimmy perform in Key West. It has been a life long dream and a great way to celebrate my 50th.
Does anyone know if Jimmy will be down there anyway? How could I find out?

We were so excited that Jimmy was going to be there during our vacation.The best place to ever see him play at…..Maybe he’ll make our day and still play down there somewhere…Our hats were ready…Keep us posted
