The set list along with comments are now available.
Ilo Ferreira, the singer who joined Buffett at the Bonnaroo Festival, was a special guest for the show and sang lead vocals on the song “Home Again“. Ilo also joined the band for some songs including “Volcano” and “Brown Eyed Girl“.
There were some changes to the set list from the first show. “Uncle John’s Band” was added to the second set (it was last played at the Cricket Pavilion in Phoenix AZ on April 18, 2006) and “Another Saturday Night” was added to the encore and replaced “Yellow Submarine” (it was last played at Toyota Park in Bridgeview IL on July 26, 2008). The Miami New Times wants the fans to decide the Dolphins theme song: Vote Now: “Is This Hometown Dolphins Anthem Better Than Jimmy Buffett’s New Song?”
So here’s Lightbourne’s challenge to Buffett: Let the Fins Nation choose its poison. Riptide called the Dolphins to propose a song-off. Spokesman Harvey Green says the team is still trying to sort out how often to play Buffett’s new track and “Miami Dolphins No. 1.”
Throwing another song into the mix would perhaps not fit the team’s plans.
Well, if the Fins won’t step up, New Times will. Listen to “Dol-fans 4 Life” and Buffett’s new jingle and tell us in the comments section which strikes your aqua-and-orange fancy.
Jimmy Buffett is mentioned in the Adam@Home Comic Strip by Brian Basset

Billboard has posted a video from Jimmy Buffett’s appearance at Bonnaroo on Saturday June 13th
Jimmy Buffett performed with Ilo Ferreira and the Coral Reefer Allstars on Saturday afternoon at Bonnaroo in Manchester TN.
From the Huntsville Times: “Jimmy Buffett last minute addition to Bonnaroo
Bonnaroo officials only announced Jimmy Buffett’s arrival the week before the festival kicked off. Even on Thursday, the buzz through camp was about Buffett.
He opened his show at noon today on the “Which Stage” as the crowd went crazy. There was no sign of rain in the sky, and Buffett – a notable beach and island man – said, “We definitely brought the weather.”
Fans danced and sang along to Buffett’s happy-go-lucky island songs and raised their hands above their heads imitating a shark for Buffett’s “Fins.” He sang “Brown Eyed Girl” and closed with “Margaritaville” as the hundreds of fans cheered, not minding the heat and sun.”
From Spinner: “Jimmy Buffett Serves up a ‘Margaritaville’ Breakfast at Bonnaroo”
“Well, it may not be the breakfast you’re used to, but we’re going to serve it,” Buffett told the crowd — hardly a traditional Parrothead audience — as he launched into ‘Cheeseburger in Paradise.’ Running through several other classics and covers of the Grateful Dead’s ‘Scarlet Begonias’ and Van Morrison’s ‘Brown Eyed Girl,’ Buffett was mainly here to introduce his new protégé and discovery, Ilo Ferreira, a musician he found in an African cantina while en route to Mali a couple years ago.
Will Kimbrough posted in his blog that he was recording with Jimmy Buffett at the Blackbird Studio in Nashville (owned by John and Martina McBride).
Will also says: “I will be joining Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band in London for recording sessions and a show at Shepherd’s Bush Empire July 5th.”
From KURL8: Youth Dynamic, a non-profit group is trying to book Buffett for a benefit concert for July 2010.
A non-profit group for kid’s health is looking to bring Mr. Margaritaville himself to the Yellowstone Valley for a benefit concert. Youth Dynamic has a major promoter that is working with Jimmy Buffett’s booking agent to secure a contract for a July 2010 concert in Red Lodge. They have raised $500,000 dollars for a down payment.
Organizers said they should know by the end of July if the concert will happen and tickets will go on sale shortly thereafter. Buffett has not performed in Montana since the ’70′s.
