Jimmy Buffett appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and performed “Margaritaville” with the Roots and Mac McAnally, Ralph MacDonald, and Nadirah Shakoor. He was also interviewed and mentioned a new album “Buffet Hotel” will be out in November 2009.

I just wanted to say that my girlfriend and I won tickets to sit behind Jimmy on the last night Jimmy Fallon show. I have been a parrothead for over 10 years, and was dressed from head to toe in my parrothead gear, including my parrothead hat. My girlfriend and I left for an hour where we invited “shumpy” aka we nick named him Texas, and had a few casual beers and some food. However, going back and getting inline, security approached us and informed us that we have to leave the show and could not enter do to circumstances out of their control. They ripped up our tickts infront of us and showed us the door. I have been a parrothead for over 10 years, and never felt so wronged in my life. Buffett has inspired my entire life, and I had that taken away from me. If Jimmy knew how his true loyal fans (the only ones dressed up there, besides big texas -who won on karokee) were treated, I do not think he would be happy with the producers of the show. I am truly sick to my stomach.

First I want to thank all the BN’ers for their support. What an crazy awesome experience. Getting to be that close to Jimmy Buffett. I actually got to meet Mac backstage but they wouldn’t let me get any pictures.
Jersey! I saw them pull you out of line right as I was getting sent back for the briefing on what we were going to have to do. I wasn’t sure what happened with y’all but didn’t see you in the audience. Sorry to hear they treated you like that. We were the only ones in the show, besides Buffett and the Roots, dressed up too.

It is always good to see Jimmy on TV but I have to say….. Margaritaville again???!!!! I know it is the flagship but… How about “a lot to drink about? ” - Lets have a relevent Bubba, not a jukebox favorite! Topical Topical Topical.
