Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band performed at La Cigale in Paris France on Saturday night. This marked the third year in a row that Jimmy has performed in Paris. The past two years he performed at the New Morning Jazz Club. View the set list here.

Jimmy began the show with an acoustic solo version of “The Wino And I Know“. During the show a new song called “Chill The Rosé” debuted. During the encores Jimmy and the Coral Reefers performed “Autour Du Rocher“. Jimmy ended the show with a solo version of “He Went To Paris“.

Jimmy Buffett performed last night before the game between the Miami Dolphins and the Indianapolis Colts.

The Miami Herald has an article with a short video clip: “Celebs help usher in new attitude for Miami Dolphins”

Rapper T-Pain popped out of a hearse and strode onto a VIP carpet to the sounds of screaming fans. A few feet away, Jimmy Buffett hoisted a beer on stage.

And Buffett, whose beer label acquired the stadium’s naming rights in May, was the main attraction. He performed some of his greatest hits before thousands at the Fin Zone bar area at the stadium’s Grand Plaza.

The stargazing continued inside the stadium, where celebrities watched players warm up on the sidelines. Serena and Venus Williams, who also own a small share of the team, appeared on-field with legendary Dolphins quarterbacks Dan Marino and Bob Griese.

Buffett’s appearance motivated some fans to come to the game more for the entertainment than the football.

“Oh, my God, it’s fantastic,” said Brenda Braley, president of the Miami Parrot Heads chapter, who helped sell more than 600 tickets to Monday’s game to other Buffett fans. “We’re just hungry for a show.”

From the Palm Beach Post: “Jimmy Buffett expected to perform outside stadium before Miami Dolphins game”

Come Monday, Colts will be invading Land Shark Stadium, and so will Parrotheads.

The Dolphins plan a series of festivities before their game against Indianapolis on Monday Night Football, including a “surprise artist” performing on the Land Shark Tailgate Stage near Gate F at 7:45 p.m., nearly an hour before the 8:40 kickoff.

Sources said the artist is Jimmy Buffett, whose breakthrough hit in 1974 was Come Monday and whose fans are known as Parrotheads. This summer, LandShark Lager, the beer Buffett promotes, attached its name to the former Dolphin Stadium. Buffett also rewrote the lyrics to his song Fins to accommodate the Dolphins, who plan to play it after some scores.

Buffett is a friend and Palm Beach neighbor of Dolphins owner Stephen M. Ross, who is attempting to enhance the “game-day experience” with an influx of starpower to premiere Monday. Marc Anthony, Gloria and Emilio Estefan and Venus and Serena Williams are new limited partners in the Dolphins.

Three of pop music’s biggest stars, Gwen Stefani, Chris Martin and Jimmy Buffett, will take the stage during the 2009 Bridge School Benefit concerts at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View CA, organizers announced today. Stefani will perform with her platinum-selling band No Doubt, which recently came through the Bay Area on a successful reunion tour, while Martin will leave his mates in Coldplay behind to play rare solo sets.

The concerts are set for 5 p.m. Oct. 24 and 2 p.m. Oct. 25. Tickets are $39.50-$150 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Sunday: Contact 877-598-6659 and www.livenation.com.

Other top names scheduled to perform at both concerts include pop-rocker Sheryl Crow, indie-folk act Fleet Foxes, Australian hard-rockers Wolfmother, alt-rock icon Gavin Rossdale (Stefani’s husband) and, of course, the event’s organizer, Neil Young. The Monsters of Folk, the indie-pop dream team of Conor Oberst, Yim Yames, M. Ward and Mike Mogis, will also appear on both days.

Each concert, however, boosts individual appeal. Parrotheads will want to purchase tickets for Saturday’s affair (October 24th), which is when their leader, Jimmy Buffett, will make his Bridge School debut. On Sunday, Buffett’s spot will be filled by popular comedian Adam Sandler, who recently starred in the Judd Apatow-directed film “Funny People.” Sandler is best known for such films as “Billy Madison” and “Happy Gilmore,” but he’s also a platinum-selling
