The Factory is an AWESOME and intimate venue… Caught an Alan Jackson / CMT taping there last year… would love to have been to this one… Looking forward to the airing…

This was a HISTORICAL show. One for the books. All I can say is “WOOOOW.”

Just a quick note to say that the Music City PHiNs (Parrot Heads in Nashville) were allowed 40 names (not 20) on our guest list!!!

The show was fabulous and my whole phlock had a wonderful evening and were incredibly appreciative to be there! Hearing Jimmy and Zac share each other’s songs was so cool as their styles really do bridge the generations. I think Jimmy picked the right man to “pass the tiki torch” to. And Mac was a total bonus as usual! The view from the balcony rail behind the artists was awesome! What a trip to look down on Roger and Ralph keeping the rhythm. I felt like the chosen few to be able to see Michael’s fingers fly over his keyboard and Jim’s feet move to the beat of his bass. Oh and of course, it was like a backstage pass to wave at Tina and Nadirah as they sang and twirled around!

Afterward, I was lucky to get a quick chat with Mac and Jim Mayer. And I even got a fan pic with Zac Brown himself which I’ve already posted on my FB page. I’m so looking forward to watching the broadcast in March. I wonder if us pholks on the balcony rail will make any of the footage. That’d be a hoot!
