Jimmy Buffett’s 2010 Under the Big Top Tour got underway on Saturday night with a show in Tampa FL.
The tour included some changes for last year’s tour including:

“Frank And Lola” (featuring Johnny on trumpet)
“If The Phone Doesn’t Ring, It’s Me
“Where The Boat Leaves From (Zac Brown Band cover song)
“Everybody’s on the Phone”
“Creola”
“Back Where I Come From” (Mac McAnally cover song)
and the debut of the song “Big Top”
Jimmy finished the show with and acoustic solo version of Tin Cup Chalice.

From the The Tennessean: “Buffett’s parrot gets OK for cafe”
Margaritaville Café, a Jimmy Buffett-themed bar and restaurant planned for Lower Broadway, is coming to fruition after all, parrot head sign included.
Plans for singer and beach lover Buffett’s Margaritaville project will move forward with its signature parrot logo perched atop a 16.5-foot sign along downtown’s honky-tonk row.
The $10 million restaurant also will get windows that open to let in fresh air, despite earlier concerns by preservationists that such a design wouldn’t be historically accurate for the area.
On Wednesday, the Metropolitan Historic Zoning Commission, accepting most of its staff’s recommendations, approved the façade of the beach-themed restaurant at 322 Broadway.
Commissioners also allowed a key sign planned for the corner of Fourth Avenue South and Broadway to rise a foot higher than under normal design guidelines.

Nadirah Shakoor and the Outside Art will be performing at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage festival Friday April 30th from 12:45pm to 1:45pm. They will be featured on one of the 3 large stages “The Gentilly Stage”.
Later that same day she will perform at the New Orleans Margaritaville Cafe from 9:00pm till 1:00am to benefit Brad Pitt’s “Make it Right Foundation”. Paul Leslie (TAIT Radio) will present the check for the donations he received on his Walk to New Orleans and a portion of ticket sales will also be donated (still accepting donations until the end of April).
