Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band performed in Paris France on Friday night at the Olympia Hall. This was the forth year in a row that Buffett has done a show in Paris.
Update: The set list from the show is now available (thanks to Irish Parrot)
From Irish Parrot: The gig itself contained a pretty mixed up setlist from the norm, even for Paris. “Mademoiselle (Voulez-Vous Danser)” rarely gets an outing but here it was in Paris. The show was amazing and songs like “Fins”, “One Particular Harbor” and “Cheeseburger in Paradise” sounded incredibly fresh after all these years and just rocked. But also there were beautiful moments in the renditions of “It’s My Job” and “He Went To Paris” during which Jimmy unplugged and performed solo while sitting on the edge of the stage and everybody sang every word along with him. Even then he surprised by not finishing at that but got up to do “Tin Cup Chalice” and “l’Air de Louisianne” again solo.
From No Shoes: What a day, I cannot believe how lucky we were. First we are in the queue and Jimmy rode up on his bicycyle and said “I see it is the same faces at the front each year”. He then stood on the pavement with us for about 20 minutes chatting, signing autographs and having pictures taken with the few people who were there (about 20 of us) What a start to the day.
