does this really require a facebook account to play? no way around that? i installed on ipad and would really like to try it out, but not badly enough to sign up to facebook.
if facebook account is required, it should have been made more clear in the descriptions, rather than simply say ‘now available on iPad’… well, no, not really.

I gotta agree with b carroll about facebook. I’m not on fb and won’t ever be. I’m also not interested in becoming part of the apple revolution so I guess I’m outta luck. It doesn’t seem like it would’ve been that hard to program cross platforms using Java or something. But I’m more of a drinker than a programmer so…..

I have an FB account and the app apparently isn’t ready yet. It says something like ‘facebook app coming soon. Play on your PC’ or something to that effect.

Facebook? What was the point of having it on the iPad iPhone? So stupid. I have been waiting or this game to come out and I can’t even play it unless I conform to society and join the ridiculousness they call Facebook. I think I’ll stick to the real Margaritaville, concerts and in my mind! Fins up!!!

Don’t feel bad. It’s about as much fun as watching toenails grow. The game is free, but then you have to pay to do things in the game, including clothing your avatar.
Very disapointing after all of the hype.

I played the beta version on FB all the way to the end. Didn’t have to pay for anything. There are options to pay like all the other games for certain enhancements, but no requirement. Clearly a marketing tool, but it’s a great game and very well done. Hoping they release the next module soon!

Just another way for all of us “fruitcakes” to provide him with another plane, boat, restaurant, hotel, or whatever. Remember when all we had to worry about was the next tour and album?
