From an article at Cincinnati.com: “First Taste: Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville”: Located beside Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati’s main entrance, we attended a media preview at Margaritaville on Saturday. Full disclosure: During the media preview, the food was complimentary but we paid for all drinks.
Margaritaville will officially open at 8:30 p.m. Monday, along with the rest of the casino. Hours will be 11 a.m.-2 a.m. daily, with nightly live entertainment. Here’s a preview of what to expect from the menu. (View the menu here.)
Jimmy Buffett fans will feel right at home here. From the blue skies and palm trees painted on the walls to the tropical-print shirts the servers wear, Margaritaville is definitely a theme restaurant.
The lower level of the restaurant is clearly where the action is; it’s filled with artificial palm trees, floor-to-ceiling windows, a stage for nightly live music, a tin-roof bar and even a Grumman Goose seaplane suspended from the ceiling. And there are plenty of Buffett references, including a “Postcards from the Road” wall, inspired by “Fins” – which, of course, mentions Cincinnati in its opening lyrics.
