New Tour kicks off in Nashville

Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band kicked off the “Songs From St. Somewhere” tour last night at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN.

This year tour did not include the usual “Hot, Hot, Hot” intro song (played during the past 8 years). Instead there was an Opening Medley of Buffett songs (no vocals).

The opening song for the show was “Kinja”, a special St. Somewhere version.

The show included the premiere of four new songs from the upcoming album “Songs From St. Somewhere”: “Something About A Boat”, “Too Drunk To Karaoke”, “Useless And Important Information”, and “Oldest Surfer On The Beach”.

Some songs that have been added for this years tour include:
“Landfall”
“Morris’ Nightmare”(last played November 20, 1999 in East Hampton, NY)
“Ringling Ringling” (last played April 29, 2000 in Irvine, CA)

Buffett performed “Bartender’s Blues” (dedicated to George Jones)

The set list is now available.
