This One’s For You Tour Update

Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band performed three shows this week for the 2014 This One’s For You Tour.

The set list from the shows is now available:
06/24/2014 – Blossom Music Center – Cleveland, OH
06/26/2014 – Klipsch Music Center – Indianapolis, IN
06/28/2014 – First Midwest Bank Amphitheater – Chicago, IL

At last night’s show in Chicago some changes to the set list included the addition of “Jolly Mon Sing”, “Knees Of My Heart”, and “Havana Daydreamin'”

The Cleveland Plain Dealer has a review of Tuesdays show: “Jimmy Buffett keeps a soggy Blossom Music Center crowd awash in happy sounds

Jimmy Buffett, who first sold out Blossom Music Center 23 years ago and came within a rainstorm of doing so Tuesday night, will never be a torch singer. But that doesn’t mean he isn’t passing one.

Or more accurately, helping in the passing of one. Or a few thousand.

The 19,000-plus who packed the soggy venue in Cuyahoga Falls featured the expected number of shall-we-say-VETERAN Parrotheads, whose natural feathers tended toward gray.

  1. Was at the Indy and Chicago shows! Absolutely AWESOME! Macs solo and their version of Zac Brown Bands “free” was amazing! I was super excited to finally hear the live verson of “Scarlet Bagonias” in Indy too! EVERYONE needs to see Buffett at least once in their life….I’ve been blessed to see him hundreds of times!!!!

  2. We saw Buffett in Chicago last night, first time taking the kids. They love him and he talks about kids growing up on his music and coming to shows all the time. They had a blast and it is a gift to say thirty first concert ever was Jimmy! The sound there was ok, sound is never the best at Midwest, but Jimmy Pitt on a heart shoe!! The version of Free was amazing, my personal fav and go to song was also played-Southern Cross. The only bad thing about the day, the rude people and young drunks with no manners. Everyone I go to Alpine Valley, everyone is nice even when toasty. Must be the demographic. Will not go back to Midwest, but will be at Alpine next month.

  3. Buffett was awesome the back grounds were the best especially of Chicago and the sharks during Fins.
Midwest was the pits we need to find another Chicago venue

  4. Took my daughter (18 yrs) to Tinley park. Her first time there. I have been several times, but many years ago!! This trip was her high Sch grad gift from me. We absolutely loved the show. Jimmy always recognizes those out in the lawn!! I have raised my daughter on his music! My next trip I hope will be to alpine valley. Hopefully in the next couple of years! Fins up all you parrot heads!!
