  1. Wow, No tickets available in Charleston at 10 a.m.
Third parties bought all tickets and are selling for big bucks. Way to go Buffet company.
Hope people are desperate enough to see you to spend $300 for general admission.
Not me. Hopefully the stadium will be empty and the third parties will be out money and you’ll wake up. Shameful.

        1. LOL, get educated…right. You think Buffett controls that?! Ever hear of Clear Channel and Live Nation? Let me help you. They own just about every venue in America. Just about every billboard you have every driven by, ever! Look for yourself. They ink the deal with Ticketmaster, and I bet you they own Ticketmaster. If Buffett does not want Ticketmaster in the game them he has about a dozen venues to play at. Im still in laughing, Buffett forces venues to use ticketmaster. OMG. Give me any name of anyone that has played that venue that did not use Ticketmaster. I used the internet and got great tickets to all but one of the shows I have ever been too with out ever cheating the system or using a broker.

          1. Hey guess what? Volvo is owned by the city of Charleston and operated by Volvo Car. Know what you are talking about before you comment on our venue!
It was in Buffett’s venue use contract!

          2. And to your challenge about anyone else not using Ticketmaster at this venue as the prime ticketing source ……every other act that has played here for the past multiple years has allowed local box office sales and ticketmaster as the secondary offering. But go ahead, name one that supports your claim. Ask Jimmy why he did it this way when even Hootie makes local sales available for an annual 2 night sold out show!

          3. Last one, I promise. First off, I apologize. I assumed it was a VENUE. It is actually a tennis court. No wounder it sold out so fast. I’m use to outdoor sheds like Alpine where legends play in front of 35k. I’m just quick to stand up for Buffett when assumptions are made. But you all are right on. I’d be upset to if he play summerfest vs Alpine and it sold out in a heart beat. I can’t imagine how fast a tennis court would sell out. It will be cool for those that make it. Small but personal. That’s what she said. Anyway…rock n roll and Fins UP!

  2. Charleston ticket sales are a fiasco! All pre-purchased by third party ticket vendors. Why not allow the venue to sell advance tickets to the locals for the advertised price like every other show here?

I can’t justify $1388 ($272 per ticket plus $75 fees for a JB ticket on a day!) Huge disappointment! An arrangement clearly not for fans who have supported you for over 30 years!

  3. Extremely disappointed there were no tickets available through Ticketmaster for Charleston fans when they went on sale this morning at 10am. At this point I can’t afford or justify the ridiculously high prices others are asking for a ticket originally advertised as $42.00 and $142.00. What a way to spoil what might have been an awesome concert!

  4. Guess I’ll anchor my boat across DI and listen to the show due to the fact all tickets were sold out on Ticketmaster before 10:01am today. After multiple attempts to purchase tickets on 2 different computers and 2 separate phone lines, this local Parrothead gave up. It is ashame so many of his LOCAL fans didn’t even get a shot at buying them due to presales to third parties and scalpers already wanting $500+ on various websites. Don’t believe me? There’s literally a trending thread of posts from disappointed fans on the Daniel Island Mom’s and Mt. Pleasant Mom’s Advice FB pages right now! Hoping for him to come to a bigger venue in Charleston next time. Happy for the few friends (2) who were able to snag tickets, though. Till then, guess I’ll be having Boat Drinks on the water!

  5. Ok Phinn. Thank you for seeing it our way, from our perspective! It is unquestionably a tennis court. A Charleston city owned tax payer paid tennis facility. One we are proud of and provide year round support for from the elementary school choir performances at the Winter Wonderland Festival to our low country Pigs and Pearls BBQ and oyster fest charity events. This is no place for a ticketmaster only event. Jimmy please make this right. It’s a beautiful island, place venue and people you have misunderstood for a one night outdoor performance held hostage by extortionists.

  6. Same in Paris: have tickets for two concerts in September ordered when they went online – but the first row tickets were not available and sold by 3rd party vendors. Two years ago it was possible! Big change.

  7. So disappointed. As a local, this would have been such a fun concert to introduce my son to, but none of us are going at these prices. Silly me for thinking I could purchase are 10 a.m.
