Buffett performs at Le Select in St. Barts

Jimmy Buffett performed at the 70th anniversary of Le Select in St. Barts on Monday November 11th.

The set list from the show included “Changes in Latitudes”, “Knees of my Heart”, “Son of a Son of a Sailor”, “Chason Pour Petit Enfants”, “Volcano”, “Come Monday”, “Autour de Rocher”, “Brown Eyed Girl”, “A Pirate Looks at Forty”, “Hey Good Looking / Cheeseburger in Paradise”, and “Margaritaville” (thanks to Linda for providing the set list).

Marius Stakelborough started Le Select in St. Barth with his wife Helen on Nov. 11, 1949. He’s now 96 and was able to celebrate the 70th anniversary on Nov. 11, 2019 at Le Select. Jimmy Buffett stopped by to play a few songs. They have been friends since the 70’s and Jimmy has played at the 50th and 60th celebrations.

  1. SO GREAT TO SEE HE STILL PLAYS SMALL PLACES.THE PEOPLE THERE THAT NIGHT WILL NEVER KNOW HOW LUCKY THEY WERE!!!!!

    1. I think they are very familiar with Jimmy and know exactly how lucky they are. He has spent a lot of time on St. Barts since the 1970s.

    2. That is me almost cut out of the picture top left of the first pic….black shirt..my wife got to talk to him while I took the pictures….great night indeed….

      1. PLUS…we are in the video!!! To the left when they panned……against the wall..wife has all the hair.

  2. I’ve had dreams that I thought were real meeting Jimmy Buffett. The closest I got was sitting with the press of the Tribune in Chicago. It was so cool! I hold on to hope one day this seafaring gypsy stargazer gets to say Hello to an idle. Right place, right time I guess.
