Buffett’s tribute to Bill Withers

Bill Withers died on Monday from heart complications at the age of 81. He was best known for 1970s hits including “Lean on Me,” “Lovely Day” and “Ain’t No Sunshine”. Bill and Jimmy sang “Playin’ the Loser Again” on Buffett’s album “License to Chill” in 2004.

Jimmy Buffett performs “Lean on Me” in tribute to his friend.

  4. What an amazing tribute version of this classic tune. Thanks Jimmy!! Somehow it means so much more during these difficult times. Any chance of a John Prine tribute? He’s another tremendous loss to the world.
