Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band brought the Year of Still Here tour to DTE Energy Music Theater in Clarkston, MI last night. Buffett has performed at the venue formerly known as the Pine Knob Music Theatre about 23 times since 1985.
Greg Fingers Taylor made a surprise appearance and joined Jimmy and the Reefers for two songs “Son of a Son of a Sailor” and “A Pirate Looks at Forty”.
Jimmy kept his streak of different songs for the final encore for this years tour going with an acoustic version of “Tin Cup Chalice” to end the show. The last time he perfomed the song was back on November 3, 2007 in Tampa, FL.

The crowd was a sea of Hawaiian shirts, grass skirts and bouncing beach balls, as Jimmy Buffet took the stage for a sold-out concert Tuesday night at DTE Energy Music Theater in Clarkston.
“Michigan!” Buffett screamed from the stage. “We are back!”
Buffett held up a Detroit Red Wings jersey. “Home of the Stanley Cup champions!” Buffett said. “I’m gonna trade you two flip flops for a Red Wings jersey. Do we have a deal?” The crowd went crazy.
