Deep thoughts...
Deep Thoughts -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here are a few things to think about that you probably have never thought about: Can you cry under water? How important does a person have to be before they are considered assassinated instead of just murd...

Here's the deal, Capt., ALL my Buffett (A1A, Pink Crustacean, One Particular Harbour, etc., the list is long!) should be on the list, as you see by my footnote after the list. The weird thing is that as you can see from my list, Jimmy's style of music doesn't really jive with the rest of it in a way...

I JUST COULDN'T DO IT!
I have always thought that it would be fun ot do a 'Desert Islands Favourite' list of my 10 favourite CD's, and I finally sat down to do it today. I actually meant the post to be a bit tongue-in-cheek. I know the Stones dabble in a lot of different music styles, but I think I was just a bit surprised to hear something from them with quite that feel-I hadn't noticed before, and thought it would be cool to credit Jimmy with being an influence on...

OK, here's a weird one...
I just dusted off the Rolling Stones' Steel Wheels (never listened to it much before), and I couldn't help but notice that 'Blinded By Love' has to have some of Jimmy's influence. I wonder if that was intentional. Check it out and tell me if I'm right or not.

Will Jimmy ever make it up this way again?
The Canadian west coast, like Vancouver, B.C. I would love to get a chance to see one of his shows in person, and travelling is not necessarily an option. I have been a huge fan since the days of Margaritaville, but have missed out on concert announcements in the past because I listen to mainly clas...
