What a wonderful example set for those kids. Don't try to work problems out, just call the cops. But they arrested an 89 year old woman :( How 'bout the parents talk to the woman AND their kids TOGETHER.. and work this out. :-? The article also says that this isn't the first time she's done things ...

Not much of a Tequila drinker, but I like Land Shark. It's a good beer. To each his own. I just don't like paying import prices for a beer brewed in the USA. It's an okay beer for a mass produced lager....but there are so many better beers out there. As for paying more for a made in America beer......

somewhat surprised Oregon gave it to her like that. Don't most states ask you to explain what your custom plate means...even in cases of obviousness...like this one? you sure that's real? No state I've ever had one in. It has to not be offensive...but there is nothing that is rude about that one......

Re: Kids and Phones
However, you did mention that you are looking for a phone with 'uber-restrictions'....hum....if you don't trust her to follow your rules, then maybe she is not ready. I'm not the one who needs the uberrestrictions, however, hubby is not a fan of giving up control. I know for almost fact that if she...

I see nothing wrong with an 11-year old child having a cell phone at school if they know how to use it. They're great for unforseen emergencies. HOWEVER, I do think all young girls between the ages of 16 and 30 should be given a CHOICE between a cell phone and a driver's license. And you people tho...

Re: Are you a texter??
The kid/phone thread got me thinking..... Are you a texter? I resisted for quite some time, but have caved and have become a texter. My hubby doesn't get it and doesn't even know how to open a text (or an email for that matter).....but between me and my daughter and my son....it's texting. Also swa...

Re: Kids and Phones
How young is too young for a cell phone? My kiddo is 11 and a middle schooler (and at a MUCH bigger school than she's used to). There's a lot more flexibility in her day than there ever was before. I think it would be nice for her to keep in touch, or at least be able to, if needed. I figure a basi...

I can understand why you wanted to do that....but yes, you were out of line by a long way. Go ahead and instult me for that if you need be...but someone obviously needs to stand up to you. The rules of a given venue are the rules. If you didn't like them, don't go there. They had a no outside food o...

I would think that would be big news out here though...and I've never heard or read anything about anything potentially fatal. That's the kind of story that would be a part of every bit done on him, given how the media looks for anything they can exploit. I'm curious to see if anyone from the US ha...

The whole concept of using a video game to get exercise is just wrong. Thank You! It is crazy isn't it! But I must say....whatever it takes to get people exercising..... Why is it crazy? Exercise is boring...things like this actually make the time go by because you are concentrating on something......
