Hey all... sorry for the server issues. As many of you know, about once a year my hosting company gets a bit annoyed with the content

The server is back on line and Sunlover is in the process of uploading a cleaned up copy off all the shows.

A HUGE thanks to him for doing all the hard work!

Naw... It's arbitrary... You want the newer stuff... you get the newer stuff.... next

Gonna try to get everything back on line... going to upload in phases (70s-80s, then 90s, etc.) to try to stay under my hosting provider's radar.

We will see.

jokelben.us will be down for a bit... they're bugging me about copyrighted materials.. I have backups of everything. I'm going to try to re-upload things after they close the ticket (has worked before). If that doesn't work, then I'll try a different provider.

Anyone else? I"ve accessed it from numerous IP addresses with no problem.

interestingly enough, no, the mp3s are not there. someone converted the existing shows.

Oh... and FYI to all. the server crashed. Lunarpages is working on restoring right now.

Any idea why some of the shows have been converted to .m4a?

There were a few HTML files in some of the folders that were bad as well. They usually were titled "set list.html".

They contained viruses as well. I scanned the entire site and removed all offending files.

Looks like my hosting provider closed their ticket... I'm going to let it wait for a couple of days in case they are watching and then put everything back... with any luck they won't notice.

Since the site has been online for so long, my guess is it is not related to copyright issues. I was looking at the AUP at his hosting site. It could be related to an item about unrelated storage. This is regarding files that are hosted but are not used specifically for website operation. It appear...

Unless I can convince my hosting provider that I'm not doing anything illegal...
