Trop-Rock or Tropical Rock
Just got Brent Burns' Tropical Nuts . DANG, this is good stuff. I am already cranking it throughout the house. Someone needs to do a better job promoting this kind of stuff (or I need to pay more attention!). :D I haven't had a chance yet to put Hanna's Reef in yet but it will be a little while. I h...

Re: Trop-Rock or Tropical Rock
Might I suggest listening to the Tropicast Radio Showcase??? http://www.tropicastrs.com Also available on iTunes and Live 365. Good way to get an idea of the trop-rock bands out there. They have some really good stuff out there. One of my favorites right now is a song by the Coconut Boat Band calle...

Trop-Rock or Tropical Rock
I did a search but didn't really find anything about this on this web site. I never knew there was a genre of music called 'Trop-Rock'. It is based on JB's stylings but some seems good in its own right. You can Google trop-rock and get a lot or replies. If you are familiar with this genre, what band...

Artwork not bad
If JB's cover artwork was what drove me to listen and comment on him as an entertainer, I would have never gotten past Son of a Son. That had to be the more boring cover ever - and that was back when the canvas available for artwork was about 5 times what it is today.

Difficult Choice
"Something So Feminine About A Mandolin" is a close second. Very good lyrics and tone for Jimmy.

Unfortunate but not surprised
This would be unfortunate but based on my experience not surprising. We went with a party of 20, calling a week ahead of time to prepare them. When we got there, they weren't ready and didn't have a clue about us. Not that big of a deal. But then they served 1/2 the table 30 minutes after ordering a...
