Re: Is Jimmy going to Toronto on November 19?

If it's on the t-shirt (and apparently it is), then it's good enough for me. Now we just have to wait until a ticket announcement.

Still, the thought of seeing Jimmy indoors in Toronto in mid-November is still strange!

Re: Who's going to Toronto on November 19?

I am still wondering if it will happen at this time/venue as it is not listed on Margaritaville's Tour Dates Yikes! Where'd it go? There's nothing listed after October now. I was just about to compliment Jimmy for (finally) releasing all the tour dates all at one time... and now this happens! :) Ea...

Re: Who's going to Toronto on November 19?

I'll be there. Although I'd much rather have the show in the summer at the Molson Amphitheatre. It just seems wrong seeing Jimmy play indoors in Toronto in November, you know? I wonder how this date came about, as opposed to the post-Labor Day show that was rumored...? Will there be a coat check at ...

Re: Tour Date Rumors

Well, not to look a gift horse in the mouth, and I'll still go, but... Toronto in November? At the Air Canada Centre? Give me a freakin' break! This is wrong on so many levels. First, there's precious little tailgating as it is. Now there will be none. And the Toronto crowd isn't exactly full of har...

I don't think it was.

And the position of lazy has already been filled. You'll have to be something else! :)

Apologies if these were already mentioned, but I'm too darn lazy to go back and check:

Been away for a few days, just catching up now. Thanks to everyone who contributed 70s slow dance ideas! Maybe it's just my age, but you can't beat the 70s for music. :)

Slow Dancing

Okay, so I'm hosting a 70s-themed party this month and I want to include some slow dance songs as part of the soundtrack. I know some of you are (like me) old enough to remember the 70s, so what were some of the great slow dance songs? Here's what I've come up with so far: Stairway to Heaven - Led Z...

I don't think I've ever had a bottle of rum that lasted for an entire month! :)

I like a lot of rums, but I usually end up buying Lamb's Navy Rum because it's the least expensive big bottle I can buy here in the Great White North -- currently $34.15 for 1.14L. It's a bit cheaper than buying the 750ml bottle (and lasts a bit longer, too). It also delays that panicky feeling you ...
