I apologize for being a pessimist, but if it's real wouldn't it be on the tour t-shirts like New York and Vegas? I hope you're right, but I also wouldn't hold my breath for this one --

Jimmy has always said that he enjoys being a "businessman" as well as a performer--obviously his success and notoriety has given him many avenues to pursue outside of music. I'm sure that more often than not Jimmy is approached with ideas and projects that he says "no" to, we jus...

Re: tailgaiting

hey there all, I am making the trip to alpine in June, but I was wondering if they will let you tailgate at DTE. I sure hope that they do, but I don't know if I could handle 2 parties at the end of the world....but I am willing to try my best :P The tailgating is excellent, the only thing that keep...

The bottom line is, when you are not in direct control and responsibilities are designated to another party, you have to be specific to the point of silliness to make sure you get what you want. Could you imagine JB getting a couple of Michelob Ultras iced down in the limo after the show because he ...

1. Creola 2. Remittance Man (decent tune, but sounds wierd coming from JB -- just doesn't seem to fit him imho.) 3. CIP 4. Homemade Music 5. Autour du Rocher (although if he dropped the narrative between verses, I might think otherwise. Having to explain a song while singing it doesn't make sense to...

Please, can we say "buh-bye" to CIP!?!? I can't imagine too many people leaving a concert declaring "Damn, I can't believe he didn't play Cheeseburger!" If someone was overheard saying that, I think verbal abuse would be appropriate, or perhaps a nice pummeling with spent lime we...

Mauitim--

Did your source give you an indication of when the announcement will come? Sorry to play devil's advocate, but why would they hold back and not announce with the other August dates? I know it's only been four days since your post, but do you have any more info to share?

Alpine valley is a ski area, granted if you get down the hill in 5 minutes, its not much of a hill but it still qualifies if people die on said hill like the 11 year old beginner skiing a hill way out of his league this past winter. I went there 3 times this year because it only takes 45 minutes fr...

I may be a bit of a homer with this one, but I would bet Bob Seger & TSBB would be a quick sellout if he ever decided to hit the road again......that said, I doubt he could do it year after year like Jimmy!

No July Tour Leg?

In years past it seems that Jimmy usually does three two-week legs on his summer tour (June, July, August). Dino is suggesting no Alpine show now, and the rumor mill seems to be drying up. Just wondering if Bubba might be taking July off this year, or should we hold out hope for more dates?
