Ive been a Buffet fan now for most of my adult life.....and I gotta tell you, I was really psyched to see Jimmy play Last Chance For Change on Sunday, even though I wouldn't be able to get there.

I remember reading or hearing....I think reading....somewhere where Jimmy said one thing he is always ...

Missed the soakin at Great Woods this year.....didnt get the tickets for the Sat evening show..

For those that have done both now....which venue do you prefer?

Ive seen many shows at GW....and 2007's Gillette, and I have to tell you...I wouldnt mind seeing Jimmy at Gillette again ...

Well...as poor parents of one lucky kid...and a really cool husky/lab...we will only be making one this year. GW. God I read about all of you hittin the shows everywhere from Timbuktu to that One Particular Harbor...and I am sooooo jealous.

Alas...I will make it count in GW though....and this year ...

Maidstone is one of the most beautiful lakes in all of....well...just about everywhere. We love the loons. Ive camped along there a few times, and I cant think of any where else Ive been that was as peaceful as that lake in the early morning.

Someday, I wanna fish it, as I hear the Lake ...

But I have yet to even see on TM or LN let alone Maragritaville.Com any Sept dates for Buffett in NE.

New around these parts....but wanted to chime in.

Had a great time at Gillette last year....I thought the tailgating was great...weather was beautiful....and the crowd was just as fun as usual. I still would rather Great Woods....but getting tickets was much harder.
