Re: Hello WED @ the MSC

Still no access to the boat but got an email from the marina saying 4 boats sank and those owners have been notified so I assume CILCIA is still afloat. Kinda good news? Did they give ya any idea when you might be able to access the marina? Could be good news, maybe. No idea yet when I can get to i...

But if it happens... 🤷🏻 hmmm......where has Moog been all morning??....wonder how long he has been planning t...

Well, they have only been window visits since March. They call my cell phone, and we both put it on speaker and that's how we visit. She hasn't been out of the building since about a year ago. And I will say that no one, staff or residents, have been sick.
That, in itself, is great news!

Hi there! We had a beautiful day that include food out, boat motor oil change, ditch digging and lure painting. i rushed the time on drying paint and got florescent orange on my fingers. Those fish better appreciate my artistic efforts.

Re: Sublime Sunday @ the MSC

Lived in KW many years ago, didn't have heat. One chilly morning it was in the 60's and we had to turn on the oven to take the chill off. My mom used to do that when we were growing up to save on the electric bill. Now that I'm an adult with backup gas heat, I'm not sure how economical that was. We...

Re: Sublime Sunday @ the MSC

We don't have a furnace at all. I guess choosing to live where it doesn't snow was the correct choice :) As a kid it always had me stumped when on US tv shows they always had this behemoth of a thing with flames in it in the basement. I always thought "geez, that'd make the house terribly hot and w...

Afternoon BNers It's all about Beta in this area. Mike Siedel is in Port Lavaca TX. Larry's parents had a house there for years. TWC still doesn't know where Beta is going to make landfall. Looks like it might not make hurricane status but lots of rain. Guess we will wait and see. (((Molly & family...

Actually unpacked & did all the laundry yesterday so today will be picking up around the house. Need...
