Re: 2014 Tour Name
When I heard the Tour name, I too was slightly disturbed by the name. It was only after having a few cocktails tonight and talking to a few of my PH friends that the connection to Lovely Cruise and the Tour name finally hit me. I've been to shows for twenty years and have had the discussion with peo...

Re: Songs We May Never Know By Heart
Great list!! You can cross "Christmas in the Caribbean" off the list. I was at one of the Irvine shows during the Havana Daydreaming Tour. During the Stumpo El Bando segment, a lucky fan requested "Tennessee Christmas" I groaned as I thought it was a waste of a once in a lifetime...

He will be coming back to Star Lake. Why? because at the end of last year's show, he said "See You Next Year" He hasn't let me down yet when he has said that onstage.

Re: Was there ever a Margaritaville in CA that went under?
Yes, there was a restauraunt on Coast Highway named Margaritaville in Newport Beach. However, it was not owned or operated by Jimmy and was nothing like a Margaritaville Cafe. The rumour I heard was that JB sued (many years ago) and a settlement was reached where the owners could keep the name, as l...

Re: Goodbye To Scalpers & Ticket Brokers: Thank you Miley Cyrus!
Think Miley cares about her fans? Well for only $295, you can score a ticket in the first 25 rows at iloveallaccess.com, a web site created by her promoters. Before the rise of the internet and the secondary market, it was difficult to get any type of okay ticket unless you would physically go to a ...

So did you get tickets???? If not, they're still plenty of time to get them without paying the inflated costs.

Re: DO You Think Jimmy Is Worried?
I love the fact that people are so concerned about Jimmy's concerts because some people lose money attempting to resell the tickets. If Jimmy wanted to sell all his concerts out immediately, he would schedule them outdoors during the summer. Name one show between Memorial Day and Labor Day tha...

Re: Live Nation or Ticketmaster For Cincy?
Agreed, TicketMaster, unlike a lot of the other venues, Riverbend is not a LN venue. Although I agree I would keep both open just in case.

Yep, this stumps me too. Maybe LN has thrown in the towel.

Re: Live Nation and TicketMaster.
No, the shows at each venue will be handled either by Live Nation or TicketMaster. For the TM shows, Live Nation will usually link to the TM website at the time tickets go onsale, but that will just put you behind everyone else. TM, for shows being sold by Live Nation. will send you to its broker si...

Re: Advice for first timer, please!!
I've been to Pittsburgh last three years. Last year as this year the concert is on a Tuesday which will cause less demand for tickets. Last year the lawn sold out pretty much immediately, and it took much longer for the reserved seats to sell out. This year we're switching from TM to LN for ticketin...

Re: GW Tix already on TicketsNow.com
The tickets for GREAT WOODS will be sold through LIVE NATION only. TM will not be involved. JB's show is the second Live Nation show for Great Woods. The first show was for Phish which was a fiasco, you may want to read other posts about LN ticketing. Sometimes the employees are the last to know. Co...

Re: Ticket Question
I was wondering how in the world can STUB HUB have tickets for the shows...that have not even gone on sale yet? Yes, season tickets is one answer and the other answer is. . . THEY DON'T HAVE THE TICKETS YET! The ticket brokers are guessing the demand of the show for different locations and are post...

Here's my immediate thought: Out in Hollywood, the paper money rolls They feed their egos, instead of their souls A million here, a million there, a mindless corporate dance Get paid for f****' off, in the south of France They don't do the shows, but they act like the stars They fly around in G4's a...

Re: Ticket Broker Sites....Tickets not on sale yet!!???
Its because they don't have the tickets yet. On Ticketsnow, it seems that most of the listings say "Comparable or Better" These brokers know the market and know that they will be able to get tickets that are comparable or better at a much much lower price either from the onsale or other br...

Re: WTF detroit
Unless you absolutely "must" have the best seats in the house, take cash and go to the venue, you will find tickets at face value and below. If you don't want to do that start looking at ebay periodically for a good deal. Closer to the show will usually be lower prices. E-bay is almost alw...
