Re: Who's going to Atlanta, April 16, 2009?

Anyone hear what time the parking lots are going to open? I've tried calling Lakewood but all I get is a recording. :pirate: Per the LiveNation event page for the show the parking lot will open "early" at 4PM with a $20.00 charge for those parking before 5:30PM. The line waiting to get in...

Your best bet for a deal is to just go tailgate and keep your eyes open for someone looking to unload tickets in the last couple of hours before the game. Even if you don't get tickets you're still there for the tailgating. :D

Nice to know we're not the only ones dealing with this problem. Our keet is also six months old and started trying "cry it out" about ten days ago. After about four or five days she started sleeping 8 or 9 hours at a stretch. Now she's starting to revert back to waking up two or three time...

I'm in! Smackdown SeaMonkeys are gonna dominate!! What's the deadline for having our draft cards set? I agree that the auto draft would be the best option.

I downloaded a conversion program called Switch from CNet.com:

http://www.download.com/3000-2140-10430342.html

It worked w/out problems when changing JB tunes from wma to mp3 however it will require you to purchase the license after a few uses.

Curious, if I have good seats and take a disposable digital camara in, will I be able to take pictures without the flash? I have seen a show at Lakewood as well as indoors in Atlanta, but never had seats worthy of taking pics. Also, my husband and I will be driving in from Nashville for the show an...

Some things to consider: 1. There is a higher demand for gas in the U.S. American consumers are using more gas this year than they have in many previous years, even with the high prices. 2. Environmental regulations lower the supply base of gasoline available to consumers. Oil refineries have to swi...

I, and most of the rest of the APHC will be at Lakewood around 9am, assuming the gates are open. Since it's a weekday show, they may not open the gates as early as in previous years. My experience has been that no matter what time they announce the gates will open, a nice long line of parrotheads f...

I originally wanted to get one of those wonder poles but couldn't swing the $$$. I ended up buying some 8 foot long PVC pipe and now I duct tape them to the corner poles of my tent. They are a pain in the a** if you can't tie them to the top of your vehicle but work just fine and cost less than $10....

Small problem just came up; no more driver for the evning and the people I'm going with don't want to shell out $100-200 a piece for a limo. I KNOW that I will not be in any condition to drive that night and my friends don't seem to understand how far it is from HiFi to Duluth. Any tour/shuttle bus...

I really like the back lot, but in 99' we went at 3:00 and after a long wait got into the furtherest reaches of the back lot, in '00' we went at 2:00 and were shut out of both lots and had to pay to park across from the paved, wasn't bad once it filled up with parrotheads who were surprized as us a...

Also, I think Malone's runs shuttles to the show from their place on Virginia Ave (they did for the February '03 show anyway). If you don't want to deal with parking at HiFi just go there and leave the driving to someone else.

There are only two lots you can use at HiFi: the front "paved lot" and the back "dirt/gravel lot". There are also a few small "pay lots" just outside the entrance to the "paved lot" but who wants to pay for it? The back lot is definitely my favorite. Just seem...
