Anyone know the best bar in ChCh to meet up pre concert?

It will definitely be very fun! As for tailgating I was hoping someone might organise a party cruise before the concert (that's what they are doing in Sydney!). Might have to look into borrowing a small boat.. or probably will end up at a nearby bar.

yes thanks I got all my tickets and even have a few spare up my sleeve for friends who pop up (but only those who are true fans of course!) At least it was easier than buying tickets to Sydney, as far as I can see (ie the website didn't crash!)

I think you mean 500 people not 5000? I agree it's a very small spot. Those who miss out could charter a small boat to circle the venue! Also it says the festival is on Te Wero wharf and the concert on Te Wero island so they are in slightly different locations with the 'island' part being off the th...
