Re: It Will Be Alright MONDAY @ the MSC

Hi All,

Woke up with a bit of a sniffle and a sore throat this morning. The kind of mild symptoms you would normally ignore and get on with your day.

Now paranoia has set in.

I guess I'll see how it goes today. Temperature is normal so I guess wait and see.

Hi All,

Freezing here this morning (well freezing for here...) 41 or 42°F.

We are having pork & beans for dinner tonight I am told. I would like to make some cornbread but I am not sure what cornmeal is. Once again two cultures separated by a common language.

Is it ground corn like "polenta"?

Morning All.

Happy Blow Up a Small Part of America Day!!!

I see your president is claiming that you'll have a "big win" against the virus - he does know that topping the infection rate and death tables isn't a win, doesn't he? :o :o :o

Re: What's going on FRIDAY @ the MSC

After almost 11 months, yesterday, we finally got to bury Mum. Long story short, the funeral industry is filled with lazy, lying, fake-smiling charlatans. At least Dad has had that lifted off of his shoulders. Then my youngest brother gets home from the funeral to letter saying his wife wants out. F...

Since everything is scaled back in the pandemic, Ryan's birthday was very quiet. We usually go to Lupe Tortillas...his favorite. But, today we had Olive Garden deliver. 😊 Still yummy and a nice change. Wait. Is Olive Garden real? I always thought it was like 555 phone numbers in that it is a Hollyw...

Re: But, It's July....WEDNESDAY@ the MSC

This week is a short week for me. Not looking forward to tomorrow (Friday) though. Eleven months ago Mum passed away and we had the funeral etc. Due to a moronic pr1ck working at the crematorium hundreds of interments have been screwed over. Apparently he took the work, filled out the orders, took t...

Well day 2 of a brand new financial year (here in Oz). Apparently the tax office website crashed yesterday due to the load of people doing their taxes online. Happens every year. Followed by a press conference where the parliamentarian responsible looks suitably shocked and surprised and says someth...

Re: It's Nat'l Camera Day MONDAY @ the MSC

Being a reformed professional photographer I lugged cameras, both film and digital, around with me everyday for years. I have broken that habit as where I work (when we are allowed on site!!!!) has bans on photography. On holidays I used to lug my SLR, underwater camera, 3 or 4 lenses, underwater ho...

I wouldn't want to be a politician at any time, but certainly not now. They are da..ed either way. Never ever feel sorry for politicians. They want what they've got. In fact; they lied, connived, stole, slandered, ignored the needs of the people and the like to get where they are. If karma chooses ...

No problems in Jersey. People in stores covered. It’s the places attracting the youth that is the problem. Overcrowding at outdoor bars. We worked hard in the last three months to lower the curve, just hope a few selfish idiots don’t cause an uptick. From the reports we are getting here in Oz from ...

I think that the dumbness is a world-wide problem - look at what is being elected at all levels of government. The dumbness will bite us all :)

Morning All, For the last couple of months work has been insane. For example, over the last three weeks I had a task where I had to update and/or create 174 illustrations for one series of manuals. My brain almost exploded. Come (last) Monday that task finished. Now I am in a "valley of inactivity"....
