Feel bad for y'all.

Do not understand an indoor venue in the dead of summer. :-?
The only way I can think to justify it is that that weekend is notorious for either bad storms, or intense heat waves.

Other than that, I've got nothing

Re: Alpine Valley 2020

I think I actually would have preferred Wrigley.

At least that would have been outside

The Margarillas had a post on Twitter this AM replying to a question about Alpine/Chicago area. Reply was, "Funny you should ask today..."
Thanks for the info!

Chicago is booked for July 18th so it has to be Alpine

Re: Alpine Valley 2020

For what it's worth, the last time Jimmy came out with new music, Alpine wasn't formally announced until May.

Keep the hope alive. Alpine wouldn't be selling season tickets if they only had one show all season

Re: Alpine Valley 2020

Dave Matthews was announced for Summerfest today.

Makes me wonder who else can be playing at Alpine that a Live Nation rep said at least 6 events

Re: Alpine Valley 2020

Was emailing a contact over at Live Nation about possibly getting season or VIP tickets for Alpine Valley this summer.

The package he sent over to me stated that it includes the first 6 announced events.

Sounds to me like Alpine is going to have a busy summer

Re: 2020 Baseball Thread

MLB did state that they won't be punishing Carlos Beltran, so he is most likely safe.

However, the Red Sox did fire their GM earlier in the off-season. I wonder if the owners had some intel on this and wanted to try and keep it on the down low

All I know is if we get saddled with Wrigley again I’m just going to Indi instead. Wrigley is ruining live music.
He definitely won't play Wrigley this year.

Re: Alpine Valley 2020

I have a deep fear since no other shows (i.e. KISS, Ozzy, etc) picked Alpine that perhaps if they can't get more acts there it might be easier to cancel Journey rather than open for a one show season. Oh no.... At least no Chicago area date has been announced. Cheers Wiscoleeds While completely pos...

Re: Alpine Valley 2020

We could always still get Alpine in June. That would be interesting. Hard to guess though since no other shows have been announced at Alpine since Journey.

But you know Alpine wouldn't open for a whole season for just one concert

Re: Alpine Valley 2020

As some dates get announced I wouldn't be surprised if Alpine is Sat July 18th.

That would surely be better than going back to the late August shows
