Re: What is your MUST SEE venue?
There are three places at the top of my list simply because of the crazy long history Jimmy has at each (this makes up his top three all-time plaid locations): Cincinnati, OH Atlanta, GA Mansfield, MA (Great Woods) Then, I want to see him in the following “regular” venues specifically for one reason...

Re: The Flip Side
As others have said, everything since Far Side of the World has had some gimmicky stinkers, but overall I was pleasantly surprised! “Book On the Shelf” is a true gem!!!!

Re: CHICAGO!!!
United Center is a very good place for a concert, but Buffett in July should be outside. I’m gonna double dip Indy and Chicago. Uhhhh.. Chicago outside in July can be the most awful temperature/humidity. Your mileage may vary. (been there for a show in 2003, and used to live in the suburbs). To eac...

Re: Alpine Valley 2020
Seems odd. Last year at Alpine was not only PACKED, it was a really unique and awesome show that Jimmy seemed to really connect with. Six encores!

Atlanta is one of the hot beds, and I’d be surprised if he skipped it on the heels of a new album. Frankly, that area deserves a stop as much as anywhere else!

Re: Who's Going to Alpine Valley?? 07/20/2019
Getting a 30,000+ crowd is probably a tall order now a days, but I hope the Saturday show after a few years skipping Alpine gets a great turnout! I saw him here as a fifth grader (lol) in 2003, and I think he drew over 35,000. It was absolutely wild.

So excited! Since we are taking the shuttle from Lake Geneva, I was pumped to find out a friend of ours is actually driving/having a tailgate.

Re: Hypothetical Jimmy "Top Ten" Tour Stops
RE: Jimmy’s declining ticket sales, are there specific venues you guys are referring to? I have seen him at Wrigley and Des Moines recently, and my sister saw him the last time he was in Noblesville. All have been full. Looks like he drew great crowds in Tulsa and Little Rock, too, and the big stops...

Re: Hypothetical Jimmy "Top Ten" Tour Stops
Basing mine off of nostalgia and the places that have loved Jimmy the longest, hoping he’d reward them with one final stop: Cincinnati (birthplace of “Parrothead”) Atlanta (Jimmy talks about it in the same breath as Cincy and kind of predated Cincinnati) Mansfield, MA (has the most shows played, IIR...

Hypothetical Jimmy "Top Ten" Tour Stops
This is inspired by a topic I saw on Jimmy's "Big Four" and also all the time we spend on the Tour Dates and Rumors subforum hoping, wishing and waiting. :D When the sad day finally comes that Jimmy decides to hang it up and only do one more tour, what are the ten tour stops you are most c...

Re: Do we have any concerts from the feeding frenzy tour?
God, I would kill to have the full concerts from those Atlanta and Cincinnati shows ... Jimmy and the band were just simply on top of their game at that point, IMO. It was the perfect combination of young(ish) Jimmy's singing voice and "Parrotheadom" truly catching on as a thing (i.e., the...

Re: Rarest songs in concert
Tonight I Just Need My Guitar would be an amazing encore. 2007 encore in Atlanta, my favorite recording I have! Also, I have been obsessed with West Nashville Grand Ballroom Gown since I was a little kid, and I went crazy when I heard he played it in Cincinnati last year! I’d also love to hear Why ...

Re: 03.16.2019 - Sacramento, CA
I liked the SOASOAS setlist, but I hope he shakes it up by the summer shows. We’re going to Alpine and saw him at Wrigley last summer; while I get that it’s the same tour, there will surely be thousands like us.
Not like I won’t have a blast, just sayin’!

Re: Tampa - Son of a Son of a Sailor tour
Come on. Is there really no florida dates this year? I could have planned a trip somewhere if it had only known. The 2019 shows appear to be a continuation of the 2018 Son of A Son of a Sailor Tour which had Florida dates in April 2018. Most of the 2019 show locations were not visited in 2018 and J...

Yeah, I was trying to see if it showed anywhere which songs were recorded where/on what date.
I hate when artists don’t tell us this.
