Gw seems to be a good spot for that -- somebody ask Caribbean Soul about her experience going to the box office several years ago. Nice to hear there's a venue where that works.

We didn't even consider taking our generally well-behaved six-year-olds, and I certainly wouldn't take a child that age, especially on the lawn (which even frightens me -- we went for the reserved seating).

But, I have to say that the idea about the RV & the sitter is GREAT.

I posted this elsewhere, but it galls me (though it's not a lot of money, it's the PRINCIPLE). TM finally issued the credit card refunds last week MIINUS, of course, their "convenience charges" (we won't go there with having use of that money for a couple of months....) And, btw, relative ...

I've sold quite a few tickets through the TE, simply because it's a matter of everyone in the group that wants to go getting on-line and buying what we can in hopes of covering the group, so there are occasinally extra tickets under those circumstances -- in almost every case, the buyers (understand...

Too true, CS -- we got our refunds, but apparently our convenience was just too much for a big business like TM to bear. Wonder what they'd think of my billing them postage for mailing the money back to the people to whom we sold the tickets?

Thanks, KLL - honestly, I've already got the money, but I thought they might need help from the original purchaser, so I was asking about that: no need for them to get screwed over this unfortunate circumatance for having bought second-hand.

Terrible news, and he's doing the right thing. but, relative to the point of purchase thing, does anyone have an idea of how that will work? (and I'm not being tacky, we can't go, so I sold four tickets to Irvine to very nice people whom I've already contacted, but will legitimate TM-issued tickets ...

Whew, FINALLY made it through that silly article -- and I thought I was a damned blow-hard -- but at least I don't make up words. Having slogged through that nonsense, I am proud to say that I'm a parrothead dork, and, moreover, IMO, that guy can just go straight to wherever people like that go. One...

whew, whole lid, I don't keep up with the list of who's died lately, too well, but that's quite a list. and I think that those guys (especially with Waylon heliping) could do a just kick-ass version of Warren's "Looking for a Hert" -- for that matter, a damned good one of 'Mr. Bad Example&...

In spite of a pass into VIP parking on Thursday, we had to show tickets (well, flash them, since I flashed two from the back seat, which happened to be real tickets, but might've been anything) for everyone in the car -- and yet, I saw plenty of people near the gates trying to sell tickets. Guess I ...

I have to post a nice story -- I put my extra Irvine tickets on the ticket exchange, and after many inquiries (they were reserved), I hooked up with the NICEST person -- we arranged to make the exchange at the local Starbuck's (I know -- too yuppie to be believed, and I don't hang out there, but it ...

Love Jim Croce, saw John Denver every year at Red Rocks when I was in college, also Joni Mitchell, would toss in Paul Simon, but, oh, good heavens, if you've not heard the new CD: Warren Zevon... not only is he maintaining a wicked sense of humor right to the very end, but there are songs that will ...

It all depends on your circumstances -- if you're going to make travel arrangements, you want to make certain you've got a ticket in hand. We're flying in from Orange County to go to GW in a couple of weeks, and it was a birthday presernt for my traveling companion, and you'd better believe, before ...

I got two reserved seats for the Thursday show through coasttocoast for $135 each -- not GREAT tickets, but, with lawns going for more than $150 on many broker sites, I thought I got a pretty good deal. They fedexed them immediately (no extra charge), and I had them in my hot little hands within two...
