Don't know if you're still thinking about doing this... As for Yanks/Sox, I got tickets off Stub Hub for last week's series. I paid about 2x face value about 3 weeks before the game. However, I watched as the prices on stubhub dropped lower and lower as we got closer to game day. The sellers panic a...

Been to Yankee Stadium many times and you're best bet is the subway. It's about 30-45 mins from midtown and only costs $2. You don't want to stay near the Stadium (in the Bronx) and Long Island is much too far away, not to mention you'd have to battle traffic to get there. The B, D and 4 lines to go...

Beach Shack Name
Hi All, I am considering buying a teeeny, tiny condo a block from the beach - a slice of heaven on the Jersey Shore. It's not much, but it's a longtime dream of mine, and if the seller is in touch with reality of an almost recession, it can me be mine. My love of Jimmy and of this particular NJ beac...

For NYC, definitely Newark or LGA over JFK. If you're staying downtown, Newark is better, otherwise, LGA. For Boston, Logan is pretty easy and very close to the city. Another option which might be cheaper, I don't know, is to fly in and out of one city, and take the train (about 4 hrs) to the other....

Here's what I think about it. If you were once a relatively big drinker and drinking was part of the fun for you at a buffett show, and for whatever reasons you have now stopped, a buffett concert would be a very difficult environment. If, however, you are someone who has never drunk a lot, I would ...

This looks like the Great Woods tailgate on the Thursday show last August. I don't know...seemed to be too many cowboys hats to be at Great Woods...I can see it being GW if it was a Toby Keith or Chesney concert...but not Buffett....plus in August last year, it's still light to almost 9 and the con...

I grew up in the Northwest and our family would spend summers on our boat in the San Juans and Gulf Islands (the Canadian sister islands). Have also flown extensively around the islands so I know them pretty well. You say you're chartering a boat. Does that mean you have a crew and a set schedule o...
